How do I mark a country as visited?
Tick the checkbox next to the country in the list on the right. Use the search box or the region filter to find it faster. The map highlights the country the moment you tick it.
Are my selections saved?
Yes. Your visited countries are saved in your browser automatically, so they'll still be there next time you open the page. Selections do not sync across devices unless you sign in.
How do I share my map?
Hit the Share button at the top right. We copy a link to your clipboard that encodes your visited countries. Anyone who opens the link sees your map. The link is plain text, no account needed.
Can I clear or reset everything?
Yes. The Clear button at the top right wipes every selection at once. Individual countries can be unticked from the list to undo a single mistake.
Does it count countries or territories?
Countries only. The pool comes from an open country dataset and covers every recognized country, but dependent territories like Hong Kong, Greenland, and Puerto Rico are not listed separately. The exact count is shown in the stats row above the map.
Will my data carry over if I sign up later?
Yes. When you create an account, your guest selections move into the account so you can access the same map from any device. Nothing is lost.
